Learn why & how RegAlert's emergency service solutions can benefit you [ benefits ]
RegAlert originally developed a driver identification system with the advice, assistance and cooperation of Emergency Medical Service (EMS) staff (paramedics) from various South African organisations. This means RegAlert's system is essentially a medical identification system developed by paramedics for paramedics.
Due to feedback provided by paramedics and the public, RegAlert has since expanded our services from the Driver Identification option to include solutions for passengers and cyclists, as well as others. We welcome any feedback from both paramedics as well as everyone whose lives we try to save through our emergency services.
RegAlert Driver Identification System
The RegAlert Driver Identification System is an identification system that was primarily developed for drivers who may be involved in a motor vehicle accident and unable to communicate in order to identify themselves and inform paramedics of details such as medical aid status or any medical conditions or allergies.
RegAlert's Driver Identification System ensures that any driver that becomes victim to a motor accident is taken to appropriate medical facilities and that next of kin are notified immediately. It also provides paramedics with vital information such as any allergies or other conditions that may affect treatment of a patient. A member’s details are linked to the registration number on the car's number plate. Strategically placed vehicle stickers enhance recognition of the system by medical emergency personnel. [ pricing ]
Commuters who have to rely on public transport such as taxis, trains or busses will find the RegAlert Identification Bracelets more useful (below).
RegAlert Identification Bracelets
The RegAlert Bracelets solution caters for a variety of emergency situations. Every bracelet has a unique code, which can be used by (for example) emergency medical personnel to identify a patient in the case of an emergency. For example; it can also be useful to those who rely on public transport, or where a young child gets lost - police or other concerned parties may call the RegAlert Call Center and so help to resolve the situation.
When paramedics find a bracelet, they can immediately send us the unique number by SMS and they will receive the necessary information by SMS. Paramedics can also contact our call center and read the unique code to the call center staff, who will then give them all your vital information. This saves time and makes paramedics' live-saving task easier.
The bracelets come in classic and funky designs, in various colours and can be worn by any age group. Bracelets can be customised by engraving it, for example with the wearer's name, or a company’s logo. Offering a safety service like this to employees can greatly enhance a company’s corporate social responsibility programme. [ pricing ]
