How does the RegAlert bracelet solution work? What makes RegAlert's bracelets solution different from others? |
Because RegAlert has spent a lot of time and effort on creating awareness of our services among paramedics, they know to immedicately check for any indication of your RegAlert membership like bracelets or stickers on vehicles.
The process they follow with the bracelets is the same as for the stickers in the case of driver identification membership. [ the process ] [ service details ]

What happens if somebody else drives my vehicle and ends up a victim in a motor vehicle accident? Whose medical information will be sent to the paramedic on scene? |
When an enquiry is done via SMS, an immediate SMS is automatically sent to you as the registered driver of the vehicle, this way you are made aware that an incident has occurred involving your vehicle and we are assured of the driver's identity.
In a situation like this you would call the RegAlert call centre, notifying us that you are not driving but instead who is currently in the vehicle. RegAlert will contact the emergency medical staff at the scene and update them with the details relevant to that person. |

What if I drive or own more than one vehicle or if multiple individuals or members share the same vehicle? |
Numerous vehicles can be associated with one member, so if an enquiry is made on either of the registered vehicles, the same member's details are retrieved.
Where multiple members are sharing one vehicle, each member is registered as a primary driver; and they'll only share the same vehicle information.
In the event that an enquiry is made on a shared motor vehicle, all the registered primary drivers will receive and instant SMS informing them to contact the RegAlert call centre. By receiving this feedback, we can identify the driver using the vehicle at that time and then pass on the correct information to the paramedic. |
